Kat Fight by Dina SilverMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Dina Silver does it again! Kat Fight seriously tickles your funny bone. Kat Porter always dreamed of being a bride. The problem is her dreams end up without a suitable groom. When her longtime off and on again boyfriend tells her to cool it, she feels like she'd just flushed five years of marriage investment down the toilet. Her biological clock is ticking, her confidence is shattered, and she's tired of watching "27 Dresses" for the 27th time [okay, maybe I made this up].
A double date with a porno blogger and a guy called "The Chef" turns into disaster as she imbibes a bit too much. Seriously in the throes of withdrawal from marital sweepstakes, Kat despairs of ever landing the right groom for her fantasy wedding.
Along comes a handsome, sweet, sexy, charming man with a row of perfect pearly whites. Gulp! Kat's got her work cut out for her as she navigates the shoals of dating peril, dodging office politics, a miffed friend, a harried sister, and an adorable male friend who's all ears and much mouth.
Ms. Silver's voice is upbeat, humorous and self-deprecating. Kat Fight is an enjoyable read with a happy ending. You'll laugh and cheer for Kat and feel for her when she finally has the courage to admit her feelings and risk humiliation to chase down the slippery groom. A fun and delightful read!
