The holidays are upon us, and now is the time for family and friends to relax and enjoy each other. Here's wishing all of you a happy, healthy, and hearty Christmas and a Merry New Year.
This year has been a banner one for me. I wrote 14 novels and novellas and one non-fiction book. In November, I got to meet my fellow authors in Miami for the Readers' Favorite book awards where I won a gold medal for A Father for Christmas.
In December, A Father for Christmas was translated into Italian (Un Padre por Natale) by Irene Aprile, and I finished writing my next baseball romance, Playing Catch, which should be released early next year. It is a romance that includes recovery from childhood sexual abuse and sex addiction.
I also read many wonderful this year books, enjoying Kristan Higgins in the summer, and now, my new favorite author Linda Howard, where I'm staying up late devouring all her books. My favorites are Son of the Morning and Kiss Me While I Sleep. I also fell in love with Jude Deveraux's Knight in Shining Armor and just finished my first James Patterson book, Honeymoon.
I'm looking forward to a fun and happy holidays with my husband and family. The weather is beautiful here in Northern California, we've had rain, and the hills are green again. I wish you all a wonderful holiday, and happy reading!
